Our Story
The first A&V Transitional homes 4 bedded group living unit which opened, is based at the family home of Director Gillian Gordon.
“All of mine and my brothers and sister’s friends were always welcome to the family home when we were growing up, and they all called my parents mom and pops as we did! A&V Transitional Homes was formed in 2018 to continue welcoming young people into the house as a tribute to my parents”

- A & V Transitional Homes was founded in 2017.
- March 2018 It was all hands-on deck to re-decorate the family home ready to provide support and accommodation for young people.
- May 2018 Grange House officially opened, and the first young person was welcomed, followed by a 2nd the very next day!
- November 2018 Clifton House opened as short-term floating support accommodation.
- July 2019 Aston House opened as short-term floating support accommodation.
- August 2020 Aston house was converted to 24 hour support 3 bedded group living accommodation.
- September 2020 Workshop space was opened providing, art & design and DJ sessions.
- Today Continued success has seen a number of the young people who have come to A&V Transitional homes successfully move onto higher and further education as well as managing their own tenancies in their own homes.
